A skin, apparently, is the name for a bit of software’s graphical interface. A graphical interface, apparently, is the buttons and pictures and that what make up the bits you see on your screen. Interesting stuff and well worth the five minutes research needed to clarify. It does however make me think of Buffalo Bill sticking his todger back between his legs, donning a shawl of skin, and doing that horrible dance in ‘Silence Of The Lambs’. It shouldn’t, but it does. And I wish it didn’t.
So leaving that behind us, and moving on as quickly as possible, without further a do, here is the link to an FC United skin for Football Manager 2008, the grossly irritating game that keeps seeing me get humped by Harrogate Town in the GM Square Conference Blue North thingy no matter how many times I reset my computer.
You just need to download the file and unzip it in to your my documents/sports interactive/skins folder. It looks beautiful, and to prove it, here’s a screen shot.
