Karl Marginson’s absence from FC United’s trip to Germany has fuelled speculation that he is about to leave FC United.

According to some tosser on an Internet message board, with nowt better to do in the summer months than spout shite, Margy was in London discussing terms with Peter Kenyon to take over at Chelsea from next season.

The London club turned to Marginson after being repeatedly snubbed by their ‘first choice’ target.

Marginson told the assembled men of the press he was looking forward to pitting his wits against the likes of Harsene Wenger and Halex Ferguson.

Meanwhile, in other web-based WUMery, Jerome Wright is off to Altrincham, Rory is still off to BPA, and Sam Ashton is to take over from Robert Hatch as the goalkeeper in Escape to Victory.
